Tom281 did an excellent job of showing us Borla versa Corsas, X pipe verses H pipe & cats and no cats. Go to this thread and post #58 for the Corsas with the Bassani X pipe. It will as close as you can get to the setup you request.

I have a Corsa X pipe with axlebacks, with cats...sounds freaking mean under load, NO DRONE at all. Sounds like a real freaking race car. At idle in neutral does not do it justice, you need to punch it while rolling. This is how I found out my new wheels are heavier, it made the exhaust louder and more awesome...ie more load But it sounds siiiiick, always get compliments.
I need help filming it since someone has to record, and someone has to drive.

Just goes to show you that sound is really purely subjective as I have the Bassani catted X w/ Flows and love the sound. Good luck with your pursuit of the sound that you are looking for.
