Anybody dyno'd the difference with the water pump?

Sounds like a good deal to me.

And, anybody try the Hurst Shifter? I missed the heck out of 3rd gear the other day, it was like the shifter locked me out of it. Pissed me off! Gotta get the Hurst, if it works.

Thanks for the post, RPM has a lot of really cool products. They also offer packages that include a Diablo sport Predator tuner.

http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05gt.htm.

The motoblue pulley package looks cool also.

That electric water pump looks interesting.

However, the stock mechanical one is less likely to fail IMO.

You're also substituting electrical "drag" for mechanical drag which might be an issue if you have underdrive pulleys.

Hurst Shifter for 05/06 Stangs

Electric Water Pump

I wouldn't get too worked up over the Hurst Shifter yet (because I did). This is the question and reply I recieved from Hurst:

RPM outlet is advertising your shifter for the 2005 mustang GT. http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05gthur.htm Do you have more info on the kit? -is the chrome shift stick the embossed one -what color is the *** -will you offer a hurst shift boot for it? Thanks in advance.

Solution:
We have not released the 05 shifter yet. It will not be available until later this year. Thank you

I seen dyno numbers of the electric water pump somewhere, sorry don't remember where but it was worth 6hp.
I ordered the pro chamber that bolts up to stock cats and slp loudmouths from RPM outlet.

I'll post sound clips when I get it in and put on.

What am I missing on the cold air kits? The K&N with the Diablosport is $499 and the C&L with the Diablosport is $649, why does the majority go with the C&L?

site says easy 30 minute install for the Hurst. that doesn't sound right. doesn't the Steeda and other shifters need you to get underneath the car? is this one any different?

That is the shifter for the 99-04 on their site. It might be 30 minutes for that shifter, but not for the 05, not possible. They just pulled info from Hurst's site on the most recent billet-plus shifter for a mustang.

I don't think it would take long to swicth out the shifter. I installed the steeda bushings. It took no time at all, and I did not remove the driveshaft, ut I did remove the shifter. Basically, there are two bolts and two nuts to remove from the shifter, and comes off the car. Then the four for the driveshaft. Drop those, swap the shifter, and replace.
