So, I'm 3 weeks from delivery and with Vista Blue GT's running through my head, I don't sleep much, too many thoughts of mods, driving, etc. Here is an idea for cooling down the intake charge:
Route a duct through the firewall to blow airconditioned air from under the dash to the top of the intake runners under an intake cover such as the Midwest auto cover. Run the A/C until staging time then shut it down to save HP during the run. Would it do any good or do I need more sleep (I come up with some strange ideas when I'm tired). Any thoughts?

You know, I had a similar thought, but my thought involved taking the cold air at it's source and somehow running a duct directly into the intake tube somehow.....

But then I sobered up

I read somewhere that the drag strips frown upon cars w/AC on. It is because the AC drain line will drip condensate on the track, making it slippy for the next guy.
