I am assuming this is a coilover kit but I could be wrong. Anyone have this system installed?

What is pictured is a set of coil overs, but to be honest was not aware they have such a package for the new mustang. They have the D-Spec, but configured for OEM replacement, same for the springs (to replace originals). Check the Tokio web site to be sure what is pictured is really a product configured for the mustang before you pull the trigger on this one.

I don't think the Item on e-bay was a true coilover kit... from what I found today, Tokico hasn't released their kit for the 05 - 08 mustang yet.

This is probably what was actually for sale: http://www.stangmods.com/Tokico-D-Sp...ge-p/00891.htm

Another give away is the price... I haven't seen a true coilover kit for the S-197 offered for less than $1100. Most are in the $1200 to $1500 range for street application.

If it was a true coilover kit by Tokico, it was a give away at $650.

The other possibility is the seller hasn't a clue what he is trying to sell.

If it is the DSK514 as the pictured lable indicates it is the shock & spring package. The adjustable D-specs for the 05 are the DSP12

http://www.hitachi-hap-la.com/Tokico...s/app/10a.html

More info from here http://www.hitachi-hap-la.com/Tokico...roducts/dspec/

D-Spec suspension kits include four D-Spec shocks/struts and four sport lowering springs. The kits are in the process of being developed and will use the prefix DSK in the part number. Please see the “What’s New” page for applications in stock. Call 1-800-548-2549 for prices and information.
