Hey guys,
This was using my standard CMVC delete plate tune for 93. Basically the same tune I've been using for all of my previous CMVC delete plate orders. I was checking it for hp and a/f differences and it was as I expected in that the a/f doesn't change when you install these. I've tuned plenty of cars on the dyno with them already but never a true before and after deal. I strapped the car to the dyno and did the before and never disconnected it. It only took around 30 minutes for the complete swap.
One thing though, if the engine is hot watch it, you're gonna loose alot of fuel when you disconnect the fuel rail and injectors to remove the upper intake.
Also, go ahead and remove the CMVC motor and you can leave it disconnected as it's not a necessary peice anymore.
Thanks, Doug.

+1 Do not disconnect the fuel lines. Just pulls the injectors our and flip it from the passenger side to the drivers side and lay it upside down. Now you can pull the plenum off. 1 hour job...

What CR said. I got them through the website, just the cast plates. Here's the link.

I still don't understand why just removing the plates and shaft from the stock unit is not everybit as good as the custom milled pieces (of course filling in the holes left by the stock shaft removal) ... and a lot cheaper than handing out $150?

Here's a write up that's been around for a bit. As stated previously, the only difference is you do not need special tools for the fuel lines as you do not disconnect them. Just pull out all the injectors and flip the complete harness from the passenger side to the drivers side.

Here in TX, I'm hoping so. No sniffer, just ODBII port testing, and a visual check for something resembling cats. So hopfully leaving all the sensors on and ready in the tune and the use of MIL eliminators will get me thru.
