i knew i wasn't gonna hook no matter what i did...dead stop launch,
2k, 2.5k, 3k rpm launches, ride the clutch launch you name it, i did it except using DR's. 2nd and 3rd broke loose all day...i was there to have fun unfortunately this happens...don't get me wrong i know exactly what you mean!

I went to the strip a few weeks ago, and I had no problems hooking up on my stock Pirelli's. I launched pretty hard too, around 2K...not really feathering the clutch too hard.
Ran a 13.59 with just a CAI and a junky canned tune.

Elevation, temperature, and track condition has a lot more to do with lower ETs as well. A poorly kept track will give drag slicks a hard time while a very clean track can allow street tires to grip.

Can you elaborate on exactly how you lost control and what happened? Just trying to learn as much as I can so I don't wreck my car.
