check gas cap...little assistance

hey guys, got an 05 gt. had a check gas cap message come up a few weeks ago. went to take a look and the entire plastic gasket around the gas tube was lose. took it to ford where they fixed it. now, a few weeks later i'm getting the same message but everything around the tube and the cap itself are very tight.

so what, did the ford guys not hook a wire back up or something
? anyone else ever have this issue? thanks in advance for any input. am taking the car in tommorow.

I hit a piece of truck tire once and it knocked one of the vaccum hoses underneath the tank loose. I got the gas tank cap warning and was looking underneath the car and saw the hose hanging loose ...

Cap

You might just have a bad cap. Might be time for a locking cap, they're pretty cheap.
