I had a MGW shifter in my old 95 GT with the T-5. I now have a 07 GT and want to buy a mgw shifter for this car but want to use my old shifter **** for my new setup. On there web site they list two different thread sizes I can choose from. Which one will work with my shift ****? What is the factory thread size? I tryed to put the **** on my stock shifter and it would not fit. Please help.

Lou.. The new MGW shifter can be ordered with two different shifter handles, one is 3/8-16 for the Hurst ball and the other is 12mm x 1.25 which is the Ford thread..

I believe the T-5 MGW had the 12mm x 1.25 thread.
