Check Engine Light

Alright guys, I got my Street C&L CAI and XII from Bamachips in the other day. Well I've had the check engine light come on shortly after I've uploaded a tune and I've tried all three of them (87 Perf, 93 Torque, 93 Race). At first using the 2 93 tunes I thought it might be b/c I still had a very small amount of 87 fuel in the tank. But the same thing happened with the 87 tune. Whats going on? The code is the 2 leans ones. Its really frustrating b/c I know its def NOT GOOD to run the car lean. Besides this everything else feels GREAT! But guys whats going on????

1. Which specific code(s)?
2. Did you "clear" the codes with the X2? And if so, did the codes come back?

I don't remember the exact codes but they are Bank 1 Lean and Bank 2 Lean. I didn't clear them but I did reload each tune and they come right back. I've checked everything. MAF is pointed away from filter? correct IDK what else to check...

I may be wrong, but unless you clear them they will come back. Try clearing them, and if they come back again, get the code numbers.

If nothing works, give Doug a call and verify your calibration code and tune parameters.

If the calibration code is off would that mean my tunes aren't loading?

I don't know, but I know that'll cause some issues.

Let us know what you find out from Doug.

You do have to clear the code(s) before running the car again otherwise the car will still be in "safe" mode.

As for the tune... Doug will be more help.

Well I got everything figured out. I didn't order the actual intake from Doug so when I ordered my tunes he didn't know I had the C&L, which was my fault.

But once again as I've heard on here a million times, Dougs customer service was amazing. He walked me through the whole process and sent me the new tunes. Everything works awesome now and the car is a completly different beast.....
