Cheap HP upgrades?

Need help on getting more power. I don't have a big budget because I just bought my 2005 GT a couple months ago. 47,000 miles. I'm trying to find cheap ways to gain HP. I already know about under drive pullies and cams but idk really know anything else. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Cams aren't really cheap, even if you do it yourself (the Ford Racing Hot Rods are on my build list and are over $700).

I would say for quick cheap horsepower your best bet would be a tune. Maybe throw a CAI and catback exhaust for sound a little extra umph. I would plan out what your goals are powerwise and just set targets for youself. Get mods that as you add them will compliment each other.

I'm looking at the ON3 turbo kit, good reviews. Kit & all the goodies to make it happen about 3K. Should make easy 400/400 at the wheels.

I appreciate it. I've already done SLP Loudmouths and a hurst shifter. I know adding BBK stage 2 cams should add about 70HP which is well worth the money. But I completely forgot about CAI and tunes. Good idea. I eventually want to get a Kenne Bell. I want at least 550WHP

Your stock engine won't live long at 550, plan on a forged internal kit.

Just remember "cheap" and "HP" are usually not in the same sentence.

Cheap, fast, and reliable.

You can only pick two.

Yea. I was looking at a SCT Xf3 tuner. I'm looking to spend no more than about $400 for a tuner. Any other suggestions in tuner brands. And also on CAI's
