Sorry, no 'How-To' on this one. The Taco's taking the easy way out and getting it installed.

Hey, thanks everyone for your input on the subject. If you haven't read my signature yet, I'm going with the procharger system. Haven't yet decided on whether I'm going with the HO system or the Stage II system. I've gathered that the biggest differences between the systems is that the stage II has a 3" tube diameter throughout, a degas tank, a different (and probably more efficient) fan and fan shroud. Oh yeah, and it's more expensive. Worth the extra money? Potentially, then again, maybe not.

Does the procharger kit come with fuel pumps?

My advice regarding the Procharger is to buy it from a reputable tuner, because their direct customer service sucks. Just FYI. Great system though, don't get me wrong.

Brenspeed's tune, developed from my car last year. All the work we did last year is finally paying off for someone LOL!

Do you mean they are sending him the tune from your car with the Vortech, and he will use it in place of a custom dyno tune?

I've had great luck with Procharger and their customer service. I have since removed the Procharger for a Whipple and it went on my son's '05. It's still trouble free and packs a serious wallop!

Do what you must, but I am disappointed. I was looking forward to;

"Vortech; the Motion Picture".

Yes, the system I am looking at (1FP214-SCI) has everything you need. Larger injectors, fuel pump, hand held programmer, 3 core air/air intercooler, by pass valve, and you can get the HTO sparkplugs (that you'll need to run forced induction) from them too.

Whole procharger HO system deal plus HTO cold sparkplugs was around $4800 shipped, that's if you don't try and find a vendor to beat that. superchargersonline.com has the system, the plugs, and a $680 rebate on the system that one of the gentlemen there assured me would be good for a year. It lists for $56xx, has an "our price" of $52xx and then the rebate you add to cart as well. Hope that helped. Here's the links:

I'd upgrage to a GT500 fuel pump. The Procharger kit comes with a generic "boost a pump".
