Cel came on about 100 miles after install of the Mac prochamber o/r pipe, will the cel hurt performance when its on??? Or am i ok, any other way to shut it off besides a custom tune???

predator will tell you what the trouble code is and what it means. if it is something that isn a problem then u can clear it, otherwise take it to the dealer. the light itself being on does not hurt performance, but what it stands for can, and can hurt the car if its something serious

 

yah, check engine lights are there for a reason. Not just to turn off if it comes on. You shouldnt have any cel's if you do, then you need to get it checked out, etc. on a dyno perhaps. could be running lean, and you could burn up valves etc. if you leave it that way. Get the problem fixed first, then if you want you could get the MIL's here is the link. Goodluck, but first make sure nothing is wrong.
