Cats to catless
Hi guys & girls, I have an 05 Whippled GT with Kooks LT headers and Catted H pipe. I want to switch to and off-road H pipe and was wondering if there is any reason I can't just switch out the H pipes. In other words, will I "need" a re-tune? I understand to benefit from a catless h pipe I will need a tune but will running a catless pipe with a tune for cats be a problem for a few months till I can afford a re-tune?

If your tuner has the capability, you can turn off the secondary 02 sensors and avoid the MIL. Also how much does your tuner charge to email you a tune (unless your going to a local tuner)

Where did you buy your Whipple from? What type of tuner do you have and where was this purchased?
Depending on the vendor maybe you can get a new tune emailed to you?
I think most people know that American Muscle, Brenspeed and JDM do lots of email tunes......so if you bought any of the above from these vendors.....perhaps they can do something for you.
