Car Wont Start HELP!!!

Just uploaded a new tune to my friends car and now it will not start. It downloaded the stock file and uploaded the custom tune like it should, but it did not start. I did read dougs thread on PCM update codes but the tuners at AM should have known about this. Can anyone help please or know a way of getting in touch with CR after hours.

I think what happened is the dealership updated his PCM code and did not tell him. His old code was TJF1 and if you look on Dougs sticky that was updated to TSG0. When he placed his order with AM he gave them TJF1 and when we loaded the tune i think something conflicted. The tuner keeps saying ERROR Invalid Vehicle and it will not let him reload his factory tune. The info center also says Low Fuel ODO Error and the miles and trip just have ------- instead of numbers.

Has the car been dealer reflashed? They won't know if it was, and if they weren't given the new calibration number.

-you got it handled
nvm

I do believe they reflashed his PCM and from what i heard they do not require changing the sticker so they just leave it alone. Which to me is BS because now we have problems.

It works, thank god we got it running. We had to talk to SCT but we got it running. And of course we read the strategy when we got it running and it had been updated to TSG0. So just waiting on CR to send the updates and we will be up and running.

Guess that tech did that reflash for free because if its not in the story, warranty wont pay the tech to do it.

I have my dealer Never touch my ECM if they have to they have to tell me first and why before I upload anything I always read the stategy number to make sure it matches the one I took off the ECM from day one, if it ever differs I don't upload nothing Iwonder can you put it back to the stock setting ? You should be able to then read it send tuner back with correct info .

Someone needs to design a locking plug/cap for the ports.

No SCT sent a stock tune file to us. He was able to recover the stock file out of the tuner and was able to wipe the tuner and insert the stock file so we could return the car to stock. He did this all through my computer, gave him remote access and he was able to get everything fixed. And yes the dealership was going to charge us more than $100 to reflash the computer with or without warrenty and we had to take the car to them which was impossible because we were not going to tow the car there and they offered to tow the car but for more than the reflash.
