I was going into failsafe continually at WOT and showed P2106. I believe it was due to the tune not being up to the cmd mod. You don't show you have the cmd, but I would suspect your current tune. I was also getting code P061B at the same time, sometimes.

You, my friend, need to speak with a tuner real quick and get him a datalog. The datalog should reveal the issue.

The code is a throttle issue, Shoot me an email and send me your list of mods along with your calibration code. I'll send you a tune for you to try. I'm pretty sure I know what the issue is as alot of SCT dealers still don't have access to the electronic throttle adjustment they are leaving out a major part of the programming and causing some cars to go into limp mode when they upgrade gears.

thanks, Doug.

Well, I figure if this fixes his problem then he can contact his SCT tuner and have them modify his specific files using these adjustments and if not then he's only out 5-10 minutes of his time. Let's hope for the best

Well Blazing Saddles goes to the same tuner and he has the same mods pretty much and doesn't have the problem.

I never had a problem with my tuner until my last (fourth) tune and he wasn't available to correct it. I received a tune from Doug and havn't had a problem since.

What is a TPS sensor... does this sense when TPS reports don't have covers?

I had the same problem, once my TPS was replaced the car ran fine again. A throttle position sensor is pretty much what its name implies I think. It detects how much throttle is being fed in and operates the throttle body accordingly. When mine was defective I had a very inconsistent idle and the engine would surge without me giving it any gas.

Actually, it determines whether or not you have the recommended 37 peices of flair.
Seriously though, TPS is Throttle Position Sensor

wheres the tps?

So can anyone tell me where the TPS is located. I'm guessing it is probably on the throttle body, but I would like to know before I take the car in since I don't have a stock throttle body.

Nope - that's not it. The TPS sensor determines if the guy that wrote your tune used a TPS cover sheet like he was supposed to

Yeah. If you could just go ahead and make sure you do that from now on, that will be great. And uh, I'll go ahead and make sure you get another copy of that memo mmm'k?

On the drivers side of the TB at the top, there's a little square wire connector on it. I bet they are cheap if you have to buy one and every dealer stocks them.

My best 1/4 and 60' are almost identical to yours dustin. So I am guessing that this problem could be robbing me hp since I have a couple more mods than you. I would really like to break into a 12. Oh so close.
