I had the same issue with mine. Took it to the dealer and they fixed it. Most dealers know people are going to mod them. I've never been hassled. They fixed everything under warranty no questions asked. I wouldn't sweat it.

I have never had work done by Covert, I just know they switched out his fuel pump and did not hassle him about the S/C.
