Can it be so, strut tower brace that fits over the WHIPPLE!!!

http://www.steeda.com/news/steeda_ne...alibration.php

Click on the link to review the piece. The trut tower brace is listed as part# 555-5726, which says that it is made to fit over the Roush Charger, but as you can clearly see that it fits over the Whipple! I actually ordered the piece, been thought to myself is that a stock hood....hmmmm. I called Steeda and they said that it was not a stock hood and then I asked them would it fit under the stock hood and they didn't know at the time as they had yet to try it on a S/C with a stock hood. Mind you this was like 3 weeks ago...
So my question is, has anyone ordered this piece and does it fit under the stock hood?

I doubt it will work with a stock hood. The whipple touches the stock hood liner as it is and that is several inches higher.

the only part of the hood liner that touches the whipple that I know of is the pulley. the hood does slant down forward as it gets close to the pulley. If we put the stock manifold and the whipple with manifold together I think its about the same height.

how much is that brace going for?
