Thanks futuresvt!!! I really didnt mind with the power gains, Just wanted to ask some questions.. First off there mild cams if i wanted to go nutz i would have, This is still a daily driver so my 18rwhp and 10rwtq gains is ok plus i like the increased power to the redline.. so for spending 1,200.00 on that i guess call me an idiot!!!

just curious, did your gas mileage change any? with such a mild cam, I wonder how it affects gas mileage on these computerized engines? wonder what the next stage or 2 stages up does for mileage?

fastrek82, the video is posted a page or two back but when I try to open the page up the video comes up blank. Is there anyway you can check it and/or repost it? I really would like to hear how stage 1 cams sound.

Thanks,
Cree

Well I certainly don't think you're an idiot. Once you do all the basic (easy and relatively inexpensive) mods, and you still want more power, you've got to do the more labor intensive and expensive mods. I believe it's known as the law of diminishing returns. Hey, look at it this way: not too long ago I spent $700 on a driveshaft.

That... was... AWESOME!

The sound alone would be worth the $1200 price of admission.

That video contains BBR's cams, stage 2 I believe. BBR cams are "reported" to be more aggressive. I am looking for video of either Crane, Comp, or Crower stage 1 cams. Comp cams are #1 on the list.

curious, what kind of gas mileage did you get before and after the cams? If you don't mind me asking. My car is a weekend car for me, and I'd love to get an old classic sound like my camaro had, I don't mind the mileage going down, but I'm wondering how much it'll go down on these computerized engines?
