Now, 25rwhp sounds good to me. Are these cams compatible with a blower?

I installed 4.10's and using the stock sct tune (dougs would not work, but he fixed that later, what a guy!). I got only 291 rwhp. I was really disappointed. My dyno guy says that his dyno does not give you a HP loss on gears. He says he has dyno's various cars with just gear swaps and no loss (He uses a DYNO JET) not sure it that matters.

were those gains just peak hp? you also have to look to see if there was any significant gains throughout the rpm range. having a peak gain of 40hp is great but if you lose power all the way to 5500rpm you will run slower. also some cams for 2V's don't make impressive peak hp #'s but they do gain a bunch of power at lower rpms say 4000rpm +40hp but at peak 5800 maybe only +12hp. they make a huge difference at the drag strip since you are only at the peak rpm for a split second before the gear change. i would rather have the large gains through the power range than a large peak increase in a very narrow window of rpms.

From the dyno sheet I can see an increase throughout the rpm range, but one can really start to see nice improvements is from 4000-4500 rpm range and your a/f looks good from what I can tell. These cams coupled w/ mild head work and good tuning, one could have a nice street car. I personally was not expected big gains, but it is nice to see the power/tq increase be maintained through the entire range. Good job being one of the first to take this on.

How does the car run on the street? Is it a daily driver or just weekend toy? I only ask because I would like to maintain daily driveability w/ the improved cams.

I have my right to an opinion, and in my opinion it isnt worth my money for the performance gains or the mild lope through the exhaust. I suppose Im just used to .647" of lift and 304 degrees of intake duration/312 exhaust that cause a very wicked idle.

Im sorry for posting my opinion, I understand that makes me an ***.

your opinion is fine. delivery might need a little work. for example, this post expaining why you're not impressed is much more useful than the prior. party on, dudes.

I suspect that dan tries to be an ***. At the very least he doesn't try very hard not to be. I wonder how much frankness he exhibits face to face. Might be the same, might be tempered with a little more sensativity or situationally, good sense.
