calling all with torque converters!
+1. I did not change pans (or even add a bigger trans cooler) and I'm launching at 4,800 rpm's with my converter. I've changed the trans fluid a couple times since and it is always nice and bright pink (not dark or burned) so it appears that our factory trans is quite stout.

Sure is hard on tires though.

I'll say! Very easy to get rubber in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (with a hard chirp on the 3-4 upshift). I have a seperate set of wheels/tires for race days, but my daily driver factory tires (BFG KDWS's) only made it 21K miles. Just replaced them with wider/stickier tires last week.
small or big setback?
Ok guys need your help again!
When I purchased the torque converter i got it without the anti-ballooning plate because that is how the vendor sold it to me! How important is it and should i get it from somewhere?

Im not sure about the anti ballooning plate, But I did and would recommend a larger cooler..
this mod is giving me a headache...
Ok so this is mentioned in the product desrciption...(flexplate must be drilled for 7/16” bolts)
how safe is this when doing it your self or should i get an aftermarket flexplate that doesnt need drilling!
