I've narrowed my choices down to K&N with Diablo or C&L with Diablo. I found them both at rpm outlet (2nd and 3rd down). My question is if the C&L is that much better that it costs $150 more. Also what are the main differences between them both? I'm probably gonna be going with either the 87 or 89 tune. Gas prices are high enough as it is.

I'm sorry, I've said it a dozen times before... nothing personal, but I can't understand the logic in statements like this. The price difference between 87 and 91 octane works out to about 1 penny a mile. If you drive 15,000 miles per year, that is about 3 bucks a week. I wouldn't pass up the performance gain for a measly 3 bucks. Just give up a fast food burger each week, and you're there.

I've got the C&L and SCT2. I couldn't be happier. I had also considered K&N before I purchased - I'm glad I went with C&L.

Have you read recent post on K&N ? Appears they do not produce what K&N claims on the dyno. Also, so far, SCT is the only tuning device that has a specific tune for the K&N.

I highly recommend you consider the C&L and SCT2. I can also highly recommend Doug at BamaChips. Do a search on this forum on bamachips, the guy just can't be beat in my opinion.

I highly recommend the SCT-C&L from Bamachips. I had the K&N and it was good also. I love the C&L-SCT-Bamachips though. You won't be sorry. Also don't look to save a buck or two here.
