CAI Tune Back to Stock?
Hey guys, I looked for the answer to this question through a search but didn't find anything. They only reason I'm holding back on a Bama Tune and CAI is cause of it voiding my warranty. If I were to get the tune and CAI could I change it back to stock if a had a warranty issue without the dealership knowing??? Thanks for the help.... All this talk of the bama tunes is kiiiiilllling me

Honestly, when I went to buy my Mustang at the dealer, I talked to the manager of the service team and he pretty much encouraged me to cheat the warranty, lol. AKA, as long as you bring it in for service at factory settings you are fine. And yea it comes with a setting to reset it.

I figure if I can return it to factory setting when I take it in there shouldn't be a problem... But I was under the impression that once the computer was retuned it couldn't be returned to factory setting.

I have an SCT x-cal2. It stores the factory tune when you load the new tune into the car. When you want to change tunes plug it in and you can choose to load the stock tune back in. It stores your factory tune plus three others you purchase from whoever you choose.
