I ordered new ones a while back from C&L. A quick call to them, and they'll tell you the right size size.

that makes too much sense. I'm not known for taking the "obvious" or "intelligent" route. Just ask my wife.....

You know if you simply take a tape measure and measure the inside diameter you will know what size to buy.

But like you said yourself that is the obvious answer.

That sounds right, but I would hope that you get a bit of a "fudge factor" with where ever your ordering so it can be a tad longer if needed. Here is where I got mine (yeah, i realize they dont have yellow) and how it comes in 3" legnths.

To get mine taken care of correctly, I ordered the 3.5" one and the 4.5". The 3" legnth helped me make mine a tad longer than the ones that came with my C&L (which was nice).

Not sure if that helps at all, but thats how I did it.

I was looking at that too, but the MAF on the C&L bolts to the head and between that and the TBI tube I would be fighting it over 2". They connect real close to one another and the MAF housing has a lip over it inside. C&L's stock blue was 2" both places.

I did not pull off the larger one at the TBI cause I couldnt install my filter one and
I wanted to do them both at the same time. That and I would have to remove the shaker (PITA).

Here is my delemma... I will have to buy about 50 in each size to get the color and size correctly cut. I wonder if there are 49 other yellow mustangs out there that want matching silicone? I do not want to get into the silicone importing business but the manufacturer wont make them with any less quantity. With shipping Im guessing they will be about $10-15 each. They are working up a proposal for me now.

The samples were very expensive. They are going to send me another sample at 3.5".

Maybe C&L would take them off my hands to offer a limited supply to their customers.... I guess I will have to contact them. I dunnoooo......

Guys the silicone couplers are very easily cut to length with a new razor blade.

When i purchased mine they came in 3" lengths also.

Looks like a winner. Hope it works out. So did you have to order some in bulk so you could get one for yourself? I'll keep it in mind if thats what happened so if I hear anyone saying they need some yellow ones I know where to try to point them.
