Burnin rubber with automatic 05 GT
I'm having a hard time squeeling the tires when launching in my automatic 05 GT.
I can do it sometimes but not always.
I must have traction control on or something.
How do I burn rubber with an automagic 05 GT?
I used to be able to do it more often before I installed 3.90 gears. Now with the 3.90 gears installed, I can hardly make the tires chirp at all - wierd

I don't seem to have a problem in my auto. I just put the loud pedal to the floor quickly and hope for the best :-)
You might benefit from a chip tune (SCT or diablo tuner) to make the "drive by wire" more responsive. That would allow you to fully open the throttle-body more quickly, thereby generating power faster.
I plan to do this in the near future on mine.

I have a canned tune (SCT 91 octane) installed before the gear change.
I made changes to the tune to correct speedo.
I never turned off traction control.

Will the car remember your TCS preference or does it default to on whenever you start your car?
The TCS defaults to "on" every time you start the car...back when I had my '00GT - there was an aftermarket switch available that switched the preference so the TCS defaulted to off - and you had to select it when you wanted it active......LB you should be seeing a light go off every time the TCS system kicks in...have you seen that or felt the car sort of "power down" when you floor it - that's the TCS.
I have no problem either. I even chirped the tires going from first to second... and yes I have an auto. Try turning the TC off and slam the accelerator. It will brun a little rubber. And you can always power brake to about 2000 rpm, and then let her go.
