Try Future Ford of Clovis (CA). In their showroom they have a black Shelby vert for $108K sitting next to a Ford GT for $295K.

OKLACOP!

Hey Bro, listen up. I got off the phone with Jared @ Lethal Performance in the middle of the week cause he wanted me to give him an update on my whipple kit for my manual. He's the best place to get the whipple from. He is in close contact with Dustin @ Whipple. From what I asked him about the automatics, Whipple RETUNED the tune for the automatics to withstand the power of the H.O. Intercooled whipple kit, putting down around 450RWHP+ with no problems! Give Jared a call and he'll tell you all about it. (877-2LETHAL)

Don't be bummed bro, they worked out the issue!! Go get your whipple!

Hey mav thanks for the info! That is some pretty encouraging news. I'm definately gonna call them. I appreciate everyone elses comments too. Everyone makes good points, which is why I love this place. Guys I doubt I'd sell my car.....I kind of typed that out of frustration. I'll get something figured out. I just sort of got tunnel vision about this Whipple and was all set to do it and kind of had the wind taken out of my sails when I talked to some of the guys on Modular Fords that weren't happy with it. I'll keep everyone updated. And PACETTR, I'll be in snow or no snow. I wanna see that car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

eeek. I guess their customers are not autoweek readers (GT's can be had for around 150K +-20K). Or Ebay for the GT500 where most seem to be moving for about 10K over.

What customers? The cars have been sitting there for months.

I think some of these dealers just want the cars in the showroom to create foot traffic.

A local chevy dealer has a black ZO6 with every option for 10K over in their showroom. Too optioned for my taste, and it really could use the red interior to give it some pop.

So anyway, my friend was looking for a ZO6. They told him 10K over for the car in the showroom. This was 3.5 months ago. We went back this week and he offered them 2500 over just to see if they would say like 5000 over or something. Nope 10K over firm, not a penny under. Talk about not wanting to move a car.

Another dealer will order the ZO6 for MSRP if you are willing to wait the 10 months or so. Sounds fair to me if they put it in writing.
