Hello everyone!

Just curious, has anyone built a better heat shield for their C&L air intake? Something that takes advantage of the two holes in the strut tower brace used by the factory air intake? Whilst I love what the C&L has done for the car, having the heat shield wobble a bit doesn't thrill me a bit. Also, shouldn't the opening for the inlet tube be just enough for the tube to get through? Mine has a bit of a gap. Not a big deal really, just wanted it to look neater under the hood.

I would love to have it run like the fox bodies one, more outside of the engine bay.

Do what I did. Put a CDC shaker on your car and plumb the cool air directly into the side of the C&L heat shield. Seems to work just great. At least for me.
