Build recommendations

Hey folks, new to modulars. I purchased an 07 gt with a hole in the block. I’m looking to build for 500-550 hp. First question) will stock intake and heads allow that amount of hp? I plan to get a forged short block to start. I have a budget of 9-10k. Mostly cruising, roddin around and maybe shut up a couple of dodge chargers around here. Could y’all give me some build suggestions please. Turbo, sc? Cams? Electronics if needed? Fuel pumps? Pretty much everything. I know Big blocks but new to this so be gentle due To my ignorance. I don’t get on here too often so be patient.

With a forged block, you can definitely make 500-550 max HP with stock heads by stepping up to a larger intake, electronic performance tune, LT headers, throttle body, CAI and cams, naturally aspirated. Even more so, if also adding turbos or supercharger. Meanwhile, welcome to TMS.

Forced induction is the way to get there, and I'd suggest you start by checking out "Department of Boost" web site for lots of practical information on how to get big numbers from these engines
