I'm still planning on making it as of right now, but we just got an accepted offer on selling our house, so I may have to bail to start packing some stuff. Hopefully I can push that off though and look forward to seeing everyone there.

I was thinking about putting those U/D pullies on this Sat morning. I'll kick it around & let you know by Friday. If not this time, I'll be sure to make the spring day.

Hey Larry,
In May I left the house at 5 AM and met up with Tom in Decatur at around 7 AM. We had breakfast and went to Brenspeeds from there. About another hour I think. So we got to Brenspeeds about 9. We only stayed until about 1 PM. I don't plan to stay all day so if you would like to go we can work it out. I took SR 33 off of I-75 straight into Decatur so that would be easy for us to meet up I think. Left me know. I plan on picking up some delete plates and have Brent adjust his tune for them and change some stuff in the auto trans shifting schedule.
Scott

P.S. I went out to Mapquest and it is 101 miles to Decatur for me and 102 from Marysville for you. About 2 hours for both of us.

Well hopefully I'll see you all there......I'll be leaving no later than 1pm, probably even closer to noon.

I'm considering putting my factory tires back on, to see what difference they make on the dyno. Last spring, I lost ~15 or 20 rwhp with running my 18" DD chromes.

It's settled. I'll be there. I'm bringing my younger brother with me. Hopefully we'll catch you before we head out Tom. I'll probably be getting there early and heading out around noon, unless I get hooked.

Good deal, see you there!

BTW guys, I did put my stock wheels and tires back on the car today... man it is downright scary- let me tell you. You can not get traction at all; I'm wondering if the lighter weight will show up again on the dyno.

Looking forward to meeting you. I was hoping you could bring the 1955 GM SW1001 Locomotive with you and put it on the dyno. Not sure what kind of HP #'s it would put down but I be the torque #'s would be off the charts. You know they give trophies out don't you.

Has anyone else looked at the weather forecast. I just took a look for Pierceton tomorrow and it's supposed to rain until early afternoon.

I'm thinking I might not go if it's going to rain tomorrow like it's raining right now. Not much to do up there when the rain's on, and I hate to drive 1 1/2 hours to stand around in the shop for a bit and then turn around and leave.

What do you all think?

Well the Diesel is rated at 1000 HP and has a (appx) 23 to 1 gear ratio to the electric motor that drives the wheels. It doesn't go fast but it pulls 7150 tons pretty easy. (I think my math is right, a railcar can carry 286,000 lbs (143 tons) times 50 cars.) It uses about 150 gallons of Diesel a day (and about 2 gallons of oil a week). They are RC controlled (Radio Controlled) we have a box on a chest harness that has throttle, brake and direction, bell, and a loud @ss horn. We ride the side Pullman steps in all weather (rain, snow, sun).

Evidently I got there after all of you left. Still a good time though. I didn't bother to run the car this time since I haven't done anything to it since last time.

Saw a badass GT500 that put down over 630RWHP with 20" wheels on. Kenne Bell upgraded supercharger. Absolutely gorgeous car.

Also saw a termie that put down over 600 RWHP with a Kenne Bell system.

If I was to trade my car today, it would be on either the 03/04 Cobra or the GT500. Of course either one is out of the question as the finances stand right now. But soon I hope to be either supercharging my '06 or just stepping up to the GT500 so I have a better starting point. Unfortunately "soon" is not nearly as soon as I'd like.
