Brembo Take Offs
Does anyone have any experiences with switching to brembo take offs? Either from gt500s or other new ones I guess.
What would all would you need? Prices? Any info? Trying to get informed. Thanks

Take the old, put the new in. Probably recommended to bleed your system as well.
Simple tools, not much science. I see Brembos on ebay with discs and lines between $700-$1000.

That's also what I've seen. It's a much much cheaper alternative to an actual big brake kit, but I didn't know if it was a good route to take

I highly recommend it if you know they are like new. Also very, very easy to do! I think my wife could do it if I stood there and told her the steps.

I went ahead and changed the fluid in the system while I was in there. Bought a pressurized brake bleeder that attached to the master cylinder at the cap. But I've used it on a few of my vehicles so that worked out for me.

I am running a set of take-offs as well and got lucky with the price as I only paid $520 shipped from a guy on TS who had his GT500 upgraded to a SS. Another easy way to complete the bleeding process is using speed bleeders as they made the process very simple.
