Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't a semi metallic pad wear out the rotor faster than a ceramic pad? Something else to consider when chosing a pad.

I've never tried a "high performance" ceramic pad but I have tried ceramic pads on 3 other vehicles and never been happy with them. Although they do hold up longer and don't have as much brake dust my experience has been that they don't brake as good as the semi metallic and they are even worse when they get hot.

ceramic is better than organic, both ceramic AND semi metallic will wear out rotor faster. just an excuse to buy some slotted/cross drilled rotors tho....
