Brake pads
Take the tires off and you can see when you've got little to no pad left. Assuming you've still got the stock pads Ford painted an orange stripe on them. If your below that you should get some new pads.
We are a Hawk Dealer so if you guys need us to price match someone let us know, although I think are pricing on them is some of the lowest around?

I too would like a recommendation for brake pads: low/minimal dust, LOW/NO noise (no squeel), resistance to high temperature fading, excellent cold temperature performance. I don't intend to run 30 laps on Nordschleife, but I'd like to know my brakes would still work after a few hard laps on a road course without going to Wilwood or Brembos. I would also like to know what pads to use on my Crown Vic that meet the same requirements listed above.
Hawk Ceramic?
Hawk Ceramic?
That makes it simple!
How is the pad life with the ceramics? Any noise, dust, or excessive rotor wear? Do you experience any high temp fading or poor cold weather performance (granted, you live in FL, but perhaps the coldest Florida mornings at 40F)?

i was looking into swapping, after looking around i found that ceramics are better for aggressive street driving as they offer slightly better stopping at colder temps but for track use go with semi metallic. semi metallic will give you better performance after being heated but will make alot more dark brake dust compared to the light dust of ceramic. most people on this forum probably wash their cars enough to not notice brake dust though anyway....
and better pads do help accelerating, just at a negative value.
