boomtubes?
boomtubes?
i have heard that the slp's you lose a couple hp because of back pressure or something. I was wondering if the same thing could be true for the boom tubes. I am between the boomtubes and the mid-muffler pypes exaust. opinions on either and all please.
I wouldn't worry too much about gainging or losing hp with mufflers. Not saying you would but worst case maybe you could loose 3hp... I am in love with my Pypes mid muffler
I would go Pypes Mid Muffler anyday over Boomtubes... I have had SLP Loudmouths for close to 3 years and they have gotten downright annoying with drone... I am about to swap them out for the MM system and a prochamber midpipe with High Flow Cats.
ok how do you rate the loudness and deepness of the mm system to teh stock. i was always planning on gettting mm but the i heard the boom tubes and now am torn. if you rate a stock exaust at 3 out of 10 what does the mm and boom tube rate at? please
i want to order today.

I have not heard the Mid Mufflers in person but I would have to say a good 7 out of 10 on loudness... the boomtubes will be like an 8 and a half out of 10... The Boomtubes will have way more drone than the MM system... I originally did not mind the drone of the SLP loudmouths but as time went on it got really annoying... I will be putting on the MM system with my SLP loudmouth tips soon and then hopefully getting a Mac Prochamber with high flow cats welded into the Off road legs...
we after all this i decided onthe pypes violators. from the audio i heard they sound deep and fairly loud. if not loud enough i can always add the o/f h pipe fro pypes. prochamber costs to much forme at the moment. got it for 240 at brenspeed with taxes. 309 stainless steel polished.
