A buddy of mine has a 07 GT. Mods are cold air intake, sct programmer, pacesetter longtubes, pacesetter ORH pipe, stock axle back with muffler deletes, and 373 gears. Its a stick car and hes running a set of M/T Et streets. I honestly think the car has it in it. Hes been running like 14.0s at 103 or so with a 2.4 60 foot. I figure if he can drop to a 1.9 60 and the extra power from the longtubes, ORH, and tires he just added it should be there.

 

The car can do it. He's leaving all wrong. The car with slicks should do 1.6s to 1.8s in the 60'.

I ran mine on Eagle F1 A/S (All Season) tires to a 13.1 with a 1.83 60'. I left at 1750 rpm with a good 12 second burnout to warm the tires and scrub them.

He should be leaving at about 3500 rpm or so and he should be doing a good burnout in second gear to heat the meats.

Make sure he shifts at 5800 and uses 4th. I found with 3.73s I made up .1s by shifting a bit earlier and using more of 4th.

 

had a 01 mustang bullitt all i had was a CAI, O/R BBK x pipe and SLP loud mouths with Nitto 555R street legal drag radiolas and i think i was running like a 13.6 or 13.9 , which is ok , but not a whole lot done to the car, and that year came with 265 to the flywheel i think, but i was making 255 to wheels when i tuned it.

I ran a 12.95 as my best for that day. This is my last run after 5 and I ran a 13.07 .. I ran 12.99 as well. My mods are in my signature. This was in jersey on a 55-65 degree day.
