I was just wondering if anybody else has run into this problem. I ordered the BMR lca's with the "street" setup (1 bushing and 1 rod end) and at first they sent the wrong order ( 2 rod ends), then the second one arrived but the rod ends wouldn't slide up into the frame so I emailed/called Bmr to tell them of the problem and they did a next day delivery but the rod ends again were too big and wouldn't slide into the frame. Dang car has been on jacks for nearly 2 weeks now and I'm starting to get a little Po'd. Has anybody got the rod end to fit (I assume the rod goes to the front and not the back?) Maybe this has been my problem but I will have to look at the setup again). Any comments/help are appreciated.

For the "street" setup, the rod-end goes on the axle, and the bushing end goes to the chassis.

I totally agree, BMR has been great to work with. They did tell me this morning that the rod end fittings are too large and that they are going to send smaller ones with a washer to fill the void. I just wonder how "good" that is and if it will cause the bushings to fail at a more rapid pace? Any opinions?

Not on mine it didn't...

they also sent me two WIDE ends, instead of one skinny and one wide. But my set of skinny bushings arrived the next morning. It takes ALOT of work to get them in on the chasis side. If memory serves, (laying under the car with your head toward the back of the car) put them in above....forward...then down. Then you can "pull" them in to place. I used some grease to help squeeze them in and align. If you have any other questions on installing them, PM me and I will call you on the phone. I have had to install and re-install them several times.

Thanks guys. It should be interesting. They should overnight me the shorter ones today so I have them tomorrow. I will put on (hopefully) and see . I would expect very little problems if you adjust them to the exact length of the stock ones to get them on. Will post results Friday evening (if they get the correct fittings to me this time).... It did get me a 50.00 GiftCert for the hassle.

i had THREE probs with my race (2 rod ends) ones.

1) wide end was too wide, and required some major greasing and a lil bit of hammer to get in

2) hole in the wide bushing was too narrow for the bolt to fit thru, and i had to put them on a lathe and cut it wider

3) when on, i got SEVERELY harsh grinding sounds transferred throughout the car, and was forced to put the stock ones back on to clear up the noise

edit: but i got them for wheel hop, and they COMPLETELY eliminated it! so im callin lmperformance (who i bought from) to try and send back the race ones for the street ones that have a soft bushing on one end

I have the combo ones and they are noisy as well. Probably not as much, but enough to be annoying
