I finished installing my LCA's last night, and to be honest...I do not notice a difference.

The axle-hop that would happen....when I took off quickly is still there. My tires still loose grip, and hop a long for a bit before settling down. I do notice that it takes less time for them to grip....but I do not see a "no more axle hop" result as others have found.

Anyone have any advice or comments?

Richard,
My wheel-hop decreased quite a bit when I installed my arms (urethane on one end and helm joint on the other). It would only hop a little and then only at the drag strip. I later replaced the upper control arm also with a helm joint and that completely cured the hop under all conditions Unfortunately, it also made the car a lot more noisy and harsher under normal driving conditions. I guess you have to decide if the trade off is worth it to you.

I was going to say the same thing. Definitely look into getting some upper control arms too.

Yep, sometimes these mods turn into more than you bargained for. I have a set of springs I still am undecided about weather or not they will ever be put on my car, (when it gets here)?

I still have some wheel hop with my Steeda billet LCAs but only about 30 or 40% of what it was. MMR Annihilator adjustable upper is on order and should arrive any day now...

Great to hear they work so well. I am definitly going to do the LCA's and I'm considering the Upper. Hey, Boss Hog, can you mix Heim LCA's with a urethane upper, or will that cause some sort of disagreement with the suspension.

FYI, the MMR Annihilator adjustable upper is a spherical or "Heim" bearing and is cheaper than Steeda's adj upper with urethane bushing.

I can only tell you that from my experience, you should not have a problem mixing them. But, as I said before, the helm joints make the ride very harsh and noisy. I may decide to change mine out and go with Urethane all the way around and just live with any small amount of wheel hop

Thanks for the thoughts Boss Hog. Given the purpose of my car, I'm thinking the urethane all the way around then too.
