I am looking at getting a intake package soon and was wandering in your opinions

1.)what's the best combination?
2.) And what set up does everyone have?

-The MMR cold air intake w/xcalibrator
or
-The Steeda cold air intake w/xcalibrator
or
-C&L cold air intake w/ diablo tuner (I know the result's from the dyno aren't out yet)

Your gona have to wait for a good comparison!!! Everbody runs the MMR/SCT combo because until very recently it was the only stuff available. I'll be installing the C&L/Diablo set-up, stay tuned.....

Good question - I too am getting closer to getting the intake and Xcalibrator combo.....have been leaning towards the Saleen combo - but am still trying to see what results others are having.

Another question I have is once you have installed the intake and the Xcalibrator - are you good to go - or do you have to take it in to a tuner shop for fine tuning? I have no issue doing that - just don't know where to go to here in the 1000 Oaks area....

If you buy the tuner seprate I belive they can pre- progam it for your mods. I bought the C&L intake kit and it will be pre-programed for thier intake. Now as far as my other mods I'll probably have to go to a person who can "custom tune" my car. Bottom line, if you just plan on the intake only, either the SCT or the Diablo can be pre-programed and you can just plug and play. If your going to do more mods expect to develop a relationship with a custom "Tuner".
