Sounds Sweet!!! Love the 'crackle' in the exhaust...

Guess you're using stock exhaust all the way from the engine back to your axle-backs...Is that right?

nice.

i'm having the remainder of my bassani system installed on friday. xpipe, highflow comp-cats, and the bassani catback SS w/ the 4" rolled tips. can't wait.

here's a clip of what the car sounds like w/ just the xpipe and stock catback. there was a snafu at the speedshop and they were sent the wrong thing, so i wound up w/ just the xpipe. but you can hear the difference that makes as well.

JUST XPIPE VID

this was taken at our most recent 05 owners mustang meet. for more vids and the like check www.mymustangpage.com, click on the Jan.15th 2005 link at the top under Upcoming Events.

B)

congrats again on your exhaust. sounds rowdy.

I love the crackle of the x-pipe.......

Zero, did you have to get a tune after the x pipe was put on?

I have the JBA axle backs right now and am looking into the bassani x-pipe. I'm just worried that the x-pipe will cause a need for a computer flash and I'm worried about voiding the warranty.

Any thoughts?

For those who haven't already seen the rest of the vids, check out http://www.mymustangpage.com/events/ You'll find my redfire with bassani axle backs/x-pipe installed in there, along with a few others! Just scroll down to the bottom and give the two pages worth of clips a listen... The bassani's are really mean! Good choice Richard!

TKEUofM,

no you don't need a reflash for the exhaust. i actually talked with bassani about it to confirm before i proceded as well. i was pretty sure nothing special was required, but always good to check.

as far as voiding the warranty, the dealership is obviously not going to warranty the bassani parts since it didn't come with the car, but you should be ok on the rest of the vehicle. i also called my dealerships service manager to confirm w/ him, and he said that, "you don't void any warranties by putting on a bassani x-pipe."

anyhow, check out the link to the rest of the videos that john posted above^. there's a nice vid of him roasting his tires, he's got the bassani xpipe and catback system, so you can hear him really getting on it. also, check out the video of 2005redgt lighting them up, he's got the xpipe w/ magnapack mufflers, another sound to chew on.
