I am looking hard at steeda, but am wondering what everyone else has used?

I have heard on this forum that you should not do this pulley or that pulley. Make sure they are balanced, etc.....

Need help.

Also where did you get yours from?

Thanks to all :worship:

SHM, Motorblue, Roush and Saleen all make underdrive pullies. Saleen is rediclously expensive, $600. SHM is like $180 vs Steeda's $250 price and Roush runs $208. I'm thinking of going with SHM, (Sean Hyland Motorsports).

Did any of you install the Steeda pulley's by itself?
- If so, how big was the differance?

Another Steeda owner. Much pleased. Install was a little bit of a pain but only because of the crank bolt.

I was originally going to get the Roush, since it's $30-$50 cheaper than the Steeda depending on where you look, but in September when I ordered, everyone was out of stock on the Roush and did not know when any new shipments would come in.

I did not want to play the waiting game, so I just ordered the Steeda pullies for a little bit extra. Everyone seems to sell them for $250, so look for a place that ships free or cheap. I ordered from California Mustangs, and then they raped me with a $20+ shipping charge.

As far as power increase, it's very subtle. Do not expect a big improvement in power, but you do notice it a little, but nothing dramatic at all. The engine does seem to rev up faster with these on too.

I used March underdrives on mine before the supercharger install. These are the same are what Lidio (Alternative Auto) uses. They are SFI approved also. I have them for sale too $125 shipped.

Thanks Mike
