I have LMs on the 07 I just bought, sounds ok. Not a big fan of the motor boat sound they make at 4k rpms in 5th gear...

hey slam,

did you use the gaskets that came with the setup? what about the bolts?

i ordered locking header bolts so that i can be worry free!! but i was wondering if you used the supplied ones

how long did the install take? any helpers?

i put my mid mufflers on today and i am having a heck of a time getting the right side one to line up correctly.... i need to put them both back into the bumper a little more and then the right one has to come up and in a little bit, it hangs real low and right on me, no one else would probably notice driving around but its killing me knowing its crooked

thanks man!

Install took a while, roughly 15 hours maybe? I cant really remember.

I had problems getting the MM system lined up as well

Nah, 15 with a buddy of mine.

We did about 9 hours on Saturday, and the rest on Sunday...We really took our time and mapped out what we were going to do.

GOOD LUCK! We didn't have a lift or anything, so I don't think you'll have as tough of a time as we did.

As a suggestion, the people at Fast Lane did mine and they did it by working around the K member by loosening it and droping it down.

ok guys,

the shop was only open from 12-5 and we got it all done in that time!!!!

woohoo i cant believe we finished it so fast.. what a pain in the ***!!!

the lift made it so much easier. it was me, my dad, and 2 of my friends

it sounds wicked! there is some good drone (loud) from around 1700-2200 rpm or so

and i mean loud! hopefully it will settle down a bit as the system breaks in.

i will try to get some vids up later

I love the sound of this combo. Well done. I keep coming back to this thread looking for more sound clips. My car is stock for now but this combo will be my first mod. I'm not looking forward to the header install, but in the end, if my car sounds like this, it's worth it.

My dad and I are going mountain biking today so maybe I'll try to coax him into buying an HD camera that I can use to get the raw footage for my next video.

OK, got the go ahead from my wife on a full exhaust purchase. Now, is the OBX catted x-pipe really have cats or are they just resonators?

I believe OBX only comes with an H. One is an off road pipe, and the other is an H with resonators (They might be hollow?) to look like cats.
