Just a few days, but I knew that many people were waiting a long time and I didn't want to sit by quietly and let it happen to me.

No more waiting for me. I e-mailed Justin last night, and he got back to me today. He said if I ordered his tune I'll have it by Monday morning. So I just ordered it.

Now I can install my CMDP tomorrow night (I won't start the car) and be up and running on Monday. Whenever Doug catches up and sends my tune I'll compare them at the track.

 

I don't want to single anyone out but that's what is causing the problem. One question, one email. Everyone sending him multiple emails on the same topic because he didn't respond quickly is just causing the problem to increase exponentially. Be patient! Trust me, it's there, it's sitting in the inbox, and he's working on it.

Guys, I would say post your question here on the forums. Even if it's kinda specific, chances are, SOMEONE here has asked Doug the question already. Plus some of us have had multiple dealings with Doug and can help people out. Everyone just has to pitch in.

 

Oops, I just emailed him to tell him to put mine on the backburner now that I have a tune.

 

Doug works his freaking butt off like crazy!! He's pretty much a one man show and does everything himself, on his own...He'll get to EVERYONE'S emails and everything will turn out fine. BTW, his tunes are unimaginable...they are untouchable even as mail order tunes. I own one of his race tunes...and well...it's that freaking good!!! I'll also be getting my car custom tuned by him in August when he comes down to Dyno Joe's.

My "question" can't be answered. I need a new tune.

All the other messages I have sent out in the past month, to multiple vendors for different reasons, have not been answered. For some reason, I must be on the "poo" list.

Maybe it's just my luck.

Doug is a busy fellow I think he is still lookin for his help poor guy with all coming his way its gotto slow him up he does get back , takes time I know & when people say about the wait yes it's worth it. give him time and be patient it will be answered. He has won my Patients. lol

 

For those needing another tuning option until Doug gets back on his feet, I just wanted to let you know that I got my tune from Justin @ 1:21pm today (Sunday), literally hours after ordering it last night.

 

He emailed me at 12:43 am!

 

Hope I get mine soon, phoned & ordered last week...but it'll be worth it.

 

Got my tunes around midnight last night as well. You know the guy's working his a$$ off when you get tunes at midnight on a Sunday!

 

Got mine from Doug @ 3AM this morning. Looks like he's back on track.

 

Got my JLT on Friday, waiting on the Tuner. Got an email yesterday with a tracking number. It's out on the truck for delivery today!

 

Thanks for the recommendation. I sent Justin an email this morning. I hope he emails me back, even if it says he does not want to write me a tune. It's better to know something.


I have several emails and PM's out to different vendors, and no one has responded. Heck, I have a PM out about my Denny's driveshaft that has also not been answered!

 

If you think you're having these troubles due to email issues, I can PM you my email address so you can send me an email, then I'll send you one back.

BTW, don't buy the Denny's DS. Get the Spyder.

 

LOL, I already bought the Denny's DS, that's the problem! I know my emails were going out at least to gmails servers. I've been watching the traffic through my network.

Justin has already emailed me back! I'll be getting a new tune from him.

 

i guess Doug is caught up. I just received the 3-pack tunes that I ordered Friday. WOOOT, WOOT!!!!

 

I got my predator tune at 2pm. Too bad, I have an SCT. But Doug will make it right here soon.
Edit: Doug sent me the correct tunes within 24 hours. I clicked the wrong race tune.

 

I also recieved my remaining updated tunes from Doug today (checked race tune first then requested other 2 updates). I don't have any other tunes to rate Doug's against but I'm very happy with what Doug has done for my car through E-mail. Next spring after the LT's, cams, and heads are done I'm going to drop some money on a dyno tune in either Rochester or Buffalo but for now Doug is the man!
