Wow, I get 20mpg freeway and 14mpg local. Wonder if this has something to do with my cat delete though..?

 

Before I got came the Bama tunes really improved my gas milage. Idl how accurate the calc in the car is but on 93R I was getting like 32mpg at 55mph. Now I get poop for mpg lol. Been thinking about detuning to 87P. Idk, maybe next fill up...

 

if your quick on the gas and late on the brakes that will kill your mpg's.

 

I got a bama tune with my C&l CAI. Received 3 tunes 91 race, 01 performace and 87 eco. I do not have 93 in my area. It was an easy load and I have actually saved Fule economy about 3 miles per gallon.

 

I'll have to say the race tune gave me very good MPG's as well as very good off the line jump. I made most of the lights today and it was sitting at 25.2 when I pulled into the lot at werk this morn.

 

At about $4.00 per gallon of gas, 10 gallons is $40. At 20 cents more a gallon for 93, its $42 for 10 gallons. And the performance is so much better. I know it is simple math, but I mentioned this to someone the other day and they went, "Oh I guess I never thought about it".

 

I don't know why you're only putting 10 gallons into a 16 gallon tank but you still have to multiply it by 52 weeks.

 

Right. If you live that way on everything, pretty soon there's no money left for anything. Because everything is marching up.

 

Probably ends up being a few hundred dollars at the end of the year, depending on how much one drives I suppose. If its a weekend car then who gives a **** but if it's your DD then yea... I keep forgetting to detune when I go to the gas station lol
