How did you attach the shift light to the dash area there? Bolt it to the plastic shroud around the steering column or something less invasive?

I used velco...tape....and attached it to the steering columun.....I lowerd the tilt all the way down...put the velco bottom piece on, raised it back up and attached the tach...it fits nicely back up under the orginal rpm guage cluster. The only bad thing would be you can't lower your tilt all the way to the bottom...but I am big so that would not bother me....If I accidently pull it all the way down..its no bigh deal it would just velco back.
