AP Racing 4-piston 1 piece rotor?

I know quite a few people were really interested in the GT500 brembo kit until Ford decided to throw the price through the roof. Stillen / AP Racing is looking into possibly doing a 4-Piston caliper, 1 Piece 14.25" cross drilled and slotted rotor for about $1695.00. Keep in mind that the caliper, rotors, and pads are all superior to the Ford / Brembo offering. Would this be something that people would be interested in? Let me know if this works or if I'm missing something.

Thanks

Brian

Can you offer the same set-up and similar pricing for the rear?

What exactly does one get for the $1695? 1 rotor + 1 caliper + pads or the whole set for both front wheels?

Highly interested in a brake upgrade. If the AP brakes worked fine with ABS, TCS, etc I would definitely consider them. Especially if they fit behind my 18" polished bullits. Doubly especially if that price included SS lines.

This proposed kit would include everything needed to upgrade the front brake system…including stainless braided lines. We are hoping to get enough interest to warrant the tooling needed to make a 14.25” one piece rotor.

Our current kits are the AP4100 which is the 6-piston/2-piece rotor ($2795), the new AP4400 which is a 4-piston/2-piece rotor ($2225), and maybe the above mentioned kit which would run $1695. These are all compatible with the ABS & TCS and a huge upgrade over stock.

Getting the rear system down in price is going to be difficult because of the parking brake assembly. Making it a single piece rotor would remove some cost, but would not get it down to that price point.

FYI we should have the AP4400 listed on our website sometime next week. We will have a template you can download to check for fit.
