Is anyone running Supercharger AND nitrous?
Just wondering if anyone here is running a nitrous kit in conjunction with a blower. It sounds kinda risky to me, but I don't know, so that's why I'm asking! I know that nitrous actually dramatically cools the intake charge, so is it doable?

Not necessarily.......
I've debated on doing it..... much like running alcohol to cool the intake charge, you could do a 50 shot of N20 at WOT at a lower rpm to not only cool the charge but also get you into the boost quicker when using a centri blower. I think you'll find it not very common on these cars, mainly because must people that are blown have gone with a twin screw, which along with N20 would be hard to pull off and/or darn near impossible to get traction lol.

You will need to upgrade the lower control arms as well as the upper link. Upgrade the upper link to an adjustable one so you can set your pinion angle.
Also get lower control arm relocation brackets, weld them on and set the lower control arm to it's lowest setting.
and most importantly get some sticky tires like M/T streets on prefferably a 15" wheel. You will have to use a spacer and longer studs to get a 15" wheel to clear the rear sway bar.
Also disconnect your front sway bar when you are at the drag strip. This will allow for better weight transfer.
Also the stock driveshaft assembly won't take that. Get a single peice driveshaft with a saftey loop.

back to your question....
yes you could do it. Since you can program when you spray with a window switch you could fine tune it that way for when you need the juice.
There is a guy running a 75 shot with a ProCharger system around here.

there were quite a few guys running n2o on the redlines last i checked... its a stock eaton supercharged 4 banger.... twin screw design.
i would never have done it, but thats cause im not a fan of n2o really.
plus i wanted my car to last a long time

(eaton is a roots-type BTW)
The reason guys do it with centrifugals is to get out of the whole harder. Your stock rods would not hold up long even with a small 50 shot. Definitely need a rebuild and want to window it somewhere between 1000-3600 rpm.
The ONLY reason to do it on a TS is when you have maxed out your boost and want to cool the intake to run more.
There is no reason to use N20 on a TS until you have gone as far as you can with the s/c pulley and crank pulley combinations. Seeing how you can get into the 9's with just pulley combinations, I don't see the need for N20 ever on a TS. If I want to see 8's or faster, I wouldn't use a TS for it anyway.

uberPony is Right,
The gentleman you refer to is Cory (a.k.a. Fibstang) and he is running a Vortech, 75 Shot and Methanol Injection. He's in the mid 500 horse range at the wheels. He admits there's an issue with traction and he said he gets his best launch at 85mph (kinda like the Twin Turbo Saleen S7).

Kind of OT, but have you ever dynoed your car? I have Vortech kit that made 450whp. I noticed GLD in your avatar.
