Any reasons I shouldn't get pulleys?
#1
Just wondering if any with pulleys has had any negative side-effects (now that people have had them installed fro a while) or if anyone has any new reason why I should not get a set. I do have an aftermarket stereo but it is only pushing 580W RMS and I don't crank it that often.
Thanks

These too will be my next mod.
Since the UD crank pulley has a harmonic balancer on it, I can't see any long run issues with these. In the past I've seen many UPD's that exclude a harmonic balancer on the crank pulley (think imports). That is just a disaster waiting to happen.
So wheres the best place to get the Steeda Pulleys?

I agree. Steeda answered all my questions on the install. They said make sure you get your torque right on the main pulley. "better to have a little too much than not enought, which often happends".
Get a torque wrench and do it right.
BTW, in changing the bolt on the alternator.....a tip on getting the stud out easier. break the nut loose and take the other nut off the other stud (the one at 7 o clock relative to the alternator) and make it a jam nut with the other and the stud comes right out....be sure to put it back on however.
Make a note of your belt routing before you start.

Other than the reduction in water flow, probably not.

Can highly recommend the Steeda UDP's and the Meizere electric waterpump. Very good mods when coupled together. Made a big difference in how quick the engine revs and SOP also tells me it was worth the money. Been running this combo for 8 months with absolutely " no issues".
