SuttonHP has Comp Cams in stock right now, per a post I saw on corral.

Have they posted price or expected gains yet?

Hey guys,

I haven't forgotten about you, I've been calling Comp every other day trying to get anykinda info about the cams but all I know is they have them in stock but are just waiting on a price to be setup for them.

How long can it take to put a price tag on something????!!!!

Doug,
Any news? What gains are you expecting to see with these cams? With the S/C cars popping left and right I might just settle for a P&P with cams if it will approach at least 375 RWHP. Are you going to offer a package? Do you sell more than one brand of cam?

Thanks,
Frank

My goal is 350 RWHP... should be able to get close to that from what I have now plus some cams. And Doug... you definitely have a customer here.

ok, NOOB question- when switching out cams....do you have to do anything else...or replace anything else? And....the "looping" sound that old muscle cars have is a result of a new cam right?

At a minimum you have to replace the valve springs and retainers. You also have to get it tuned. And yes, the "looping" sound was a result of high-overlap cams.

Actually it's a "lope" and it can be responsible for spontaneous erections

It will be interesting to see what cams, LTs, and the right tune will yield on the 3v motors. 60rwhp increase may be possible?
