I called them to talk to them about being a guinea pig for them since my heads are getting done anyway but they said they wouldn't do it. Told me that they are looking at 2 months from now!

2 Months! Ouch! I'm getting impatient with all these companies. I know R&D is a good thing, but darn!
I had my car all planned out with a Kenny Brown suspension and Whipple supercharger. Now it looks like KB is going out of business and Whipple has been a joke trying to get answers from. At this rate, the new Boss/Mach will be out before I get any parts.

Kenny Brown is going out of business? Really? What the scoop?

Well,it's mostly rumor and conjecture, but it's based in fact. There have been several posts on other sites that talk about a statement that was released by KB inc that indicated KB was ill and had been for some time. So he decided to close the shop. That is all fact. Some people have said that he is selling off all of his equipment and old stock.
What I know is that I had a contact number to Adam Brown (Kenny's son) that I used several times to discuss the '05 release and what I wanted to do with my car. That number is now disconnected.
My guess is he filed bankruptcy to take advantage of the old laws, will take some time to himself and get better, and then reopen shop sometime in the future. I'm really disappointed, because I was on a short list to have "the works" done to my '05. I had a KB Cobra before and absolutely loved the car. I know they had redesiigned the geometry for the S197 rear end because of problems when the car is lowered. In my opinion Kenny is/was one of the best in the business. His cars are superior handling machines that are still user friendly enough for daily drivers. Hopefully he will come back soon.

There are Crower Stage 2 cams on Summit Racing. Might want to check it out.

Hmm, I wonder why Summit Racing lists them under '05 Mustang.
I looked under the "Application" tab and see that it fits 4v head only.
Guess i'll send them an email and let them know it shouldn't be listed under there.

Is there anything WRONG with the BBR cams other than the crazy prize and false power claims?

Sorry for the noob question, but I might as well learn. What do the cams do?

either lift the valve higher or hold it open longer or some combination of both. Engine can get more air at high rpm, often at the cost of low rpm torque.

Comps will be out alot sooner then 2 months, I talk to them daily about it and know it will be ALOT sooner. Not to mention I'm putting together a package with them too![Thumb](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
