Thanks Guys now i just need to locate some braided hose that will work wiht this. I am sure Earls can supply that. You know a TacoBill How To would be really nice. You guys are falling down on the job.

Sorry Richard, don't have a write-up on the seperator yet. I'm sure it's a worthwhile and functional mod, but it'll be a while for me before I get around to installing one.

Rich, congrats on the sucessful DS install!

Spydershaft just installed and I'm looking forward to seeing if there is any difference in MPG since I lost a bit with the 4.10's. Had it up to about 85 and had no vibrations. Feels smoother shifting with no clangs - another added benefit. Will have a better chance to test it this weekend.

I was wondering the same. Going to put mine in, in a week or so but at the same time I am doing LT's,X and highflow's ( one time on the rack to get it all done.) Was wondering what diff the DS would make.

Rigth now I'm around 17.5 mpg around town. Just had a dyno tune on Saturday so I'll see if the mileage does go up a bit. Morning commute is heavy traffic so it's hard to get a feel for acceleration changes - it does feel a little quicker though.

What are the benefits of the one piece drive shaft besides being lighter, and why the improvement in mpg (can't be that much lighter<G>)? Last time I checked, my new 08 CS/GT was on the train and in route to the dealer so I am still trying to learn what mods I will want to do and why. Thanks

Weight diff is stock= 46 lbs, Alum = 16 lbs. Also with a two piece you have an extra universal joint in there that robs HP.

the average e.t. drop with the driveshaft install is 2-3 tenths and most of that comes in the first 1/8 mile so that tells you how much difference losing weight in the driveline can give you.
