I would swear I'm driving a different car now compared to the docile one I drove home last night. Doug's 93 race tune makes it a whole other animal. Now the mustang has the bad attitude that I felt was missing from the stock car.

One question: idle is around 1000rpm now, is that right? (only mods are JLT/x2)

I received my XCal2 from Bamachips last night. I loaded up the 93P tune this morning and its now a much improved car. I noticed it right away when backing out of my driveway. Yes seriously. My driveway is on a steep hill, and previously the lame-o electronic throttle would seem to bog down while slowly backing out. Now the throttle and clutch work together as they should. The throttle response is fantastic on takeoff and the mustang really gallops down the highway. The tune works well with my Roush/Airaid CAI. I can't wait to explore some of the data logging abilities.

The idle on mine was normal.

Which JLT did you get?? I just got the JLT II and installed one of Dougs tune and wow!!! Having an issue though... quick question. When you put the MAF on did your kit include those rubber washers for the screws? I dont have them and I am wondering if air is leaking in and causing me to go into fail safe.. Doug think sits either that or the pcv hose isnt tight enough.

Glad to see more people jumping on the Bamachips bandwagon. The car is a beast with the 93 race tune. I practically snorts when you mash the gas pedal. The others are great to have too. In fact, I think I might just install my 93 torque tune this afternoon just to switch it up a little! Doug is the man!

I have a Predator, and will be buying one of Doug's tunes soon. I don't race the car on the track, but do occasionally engage in what some might consider spirited driving Which of the three tunes would you guys recommend?

93 race is the best tune he has, I dont race yet either, but you will later after trying this tune, you wont be able to stop modding, LOL
I have tried I believe all the tunes he has, and that one is the best so far, it is at attention all the time especially with the 373 gears I added, right on awesome.

So it would be even better with my 4.10's?

has anyone ever listed the differences between doug's tunes?

I have the 87perf, 93 torq, 93 race.
Is there any reason I'd want to use 93 torq over race?

At lunch I reflashed with a 93T tune and went for a drive. I really like the 93T, it's great for city driving. The 93T might be my favorite right now. On city surface streets it's alot of 2nd and 3rd gear, and it really pulls hard--even when I shift early there is plenty of power on tap. I have the 87P, 93T, and 93P. Now I may go buy the race tune to complete the experience.

I'd love to try out the 93 Race. Sadly, the best gas around here is 92, mostly 91.

My Xcal and C&L are enroute from Doug as we speak. I think it's somewhere beween Minneapolis and Winnipeg. I'm looking forward to it.
