I've been pondering getting these as well.. question is, are they worth it on automatics as well? I'll be using drag radials and estimate right around 300rwhp next summer, is that enough to get any benefit from these?

Eventually you will need to replace your control arms. Until you get your car to the track with your new combination, it is hard to tell if they will help you now. We have a lot of customers with automatics that have already had problems with traction and have the control arms on their car. Some are still running stock motors.

Good write up. Did you jack up the rear by the pumpkin, then set on jackstands?
Yup--jack under the pumpkin then lowered onto jackstands under the axle tube. Don't even get me started on the "OH MY GOD DON'T JACK UNDER THE PUMPKIN!" hysteria...

You did not mention the greater noise factor.
There isn't much to speak of. As friends and family tell me, I have "dog hearing," so take the following with a large grain of salt.

With the radio off, windows up, stock exhaust, and really listening for any changes, I noticed a *slight* rear axle whine from 25mph on up. It is so slight that it may have been there all along and I just never listened for it. Given the comments about how some lca's increase noise, I was really listening for it after the install, which may explain why I noticed it. Was it there before? Not sure. Can you hear it with the radio barely on? Nope. Will I notice it in a week? Probably not.

Has anyone installed the Red LCAs? Wondering how it looks having the red suspension parts under there.
